Bondex Matt Finish Wood Stain is a weather and water resistant product. its colloidal pigments not only settle on the surface but also penetrate into the pores together with the binder.
This gives maximum protection against UV degradation and a uniform staining with less risk of leaching. The product decorates the surface but leaves the wood grains visible.
Bondex Wood Stain protects the surface against blue stain and mould.
Where to use: On all kinds of outdoor wooden elements and wood species.
Surface preparation: Dirt, algae, mould and loose parts have to be removed. Old coats are to be stripped down to bare wood. if smooth surface is required it should be sanded. The surface must be clean, dry and solid. Bare softwood ourdoor must be primed with Bondex Quick Drying Wood Preservative.
Accaptable moisture content: softwood – max 15% hardwood – max 12%.
Application: Stir well before use. Apply 2-3 coats with a brush or by dipping or air-less spraying. Do not use in temperature below 5 celsius and/or above 80% relative humidity. Do not use Bondex Wood Stain clear outdoors without pigmented under coat. Close the can firmly after use.
Spreading rate: Approximately 10-16 square meter per litre per coat.
Drying time: Touch-dry after approx 6 hours. Recoatable after 16hours. At 23 celsius and standard humidity of 60%.
Cleaning of tools: White spirit.
Storage: In firmly closed containers.
Shelf life: 5years in unopened containers.
