Bondex Extreme Decking oil is a water based, translucent an nourishing oil for outdoor wooden decks. It offers double durability compared to conventional decking oil, and decks can be walked on only one hour after application.

 

Description: Special, water-based oil for outdoor use. Stains and preserves your wooden deck. Helps reduce cracking, drying and decay. The wooden surface becomes water repellent and the wood is protected against moisture and weather degradation. Due to its innovative formulation, Bondex Extreme Decking Oil lasts minimum 2 years, which is twice as long as other conventional decking oils.

 

Special Features: The long durability is due to an innovative binder system, which gives the product approved adhesion and penetration onto the surface. Bondex Extreme Decking Oil is also suitable for exotic woods such as teak, nyatoh, bangkirai, meranti and ipe.

 

Where to Use: Bondex Extreme Decking Oil is suitable for terraces, fences, pergolas, furniture, panels etc.

 

Surface preparation: The surface must be clean, dry and solid, free from oil, grease and wax, as well as rust and resin. Remove algae and mould before applying treatment. Highly weathered areas are sanded down to healthy wood. Important: The moisture of the wood must not exceed 18% during application.

 

Application: Stir product well before use. Apply with brush or spray. Please note that the end result of the colour depends on the surface (wood species, colour etc.). First coat: Apply the product in a thin layer. After the first coat the wood grain may rise to an uneven surface. In this case you can sand lightly (after approx. 1-2 hours) until the surface is smooth again. Second coat: Apply the second coat and wipe off surplus product with a lint free cloth after approx. 5-10 minutes. Do not apply Bondex Extreme Decking Oil at temperatures below + 5°C and / or relative humidity >80%. The drying time is based on 23°C at 60% relative humidity.

 

Maintenance: Apply a maintenance coat once a year to ensure maximum protection. On areas with high traffic you can maintain regularly.

 

Drying Time: Recoatable in approx. 1 hour.
